We are proud to have hosted the Ford Tri-Motor last week at Downtown Island Airport in Knoxville. Here’s a gallery of images taken by our members.
The EAA Tri-Motor arrived from Manassas, Virginia, with Pilots Cody Welch and Bob Siegfried to fly passengers in Knoxville with Chapter 17 providing support. On Saturday, we had a wonderful collection of antique Model A Fords provided by Smoky Mountain Model A Club and on Sunday we had a Shelby and Mustangs on display provided by the Tennessee Valley Mustang Club. They were all offered the opportunity to have their cars photographed with the Ford Tri-Motor. We thank everybody for making this opportunity available.
