Hello All – our monthly meeting of the Valley Flyers was distracted by the arrival of a Max Air Drifter at our field shelter.

Tim Williamson was the pilot and he had stopped by to in- vite us to participate in a fun fly at the field on Saturday October 5th. The show will display ultralight, light sport and Powered Parachute types. There will be Cajun shrimp bowls and some hamburgers and hot dogs. He wants to focus on the fun of aviation not only for adults but also for youth and that’s where he hopes we can play a role with a display and demos. He commented that while exposing youth to flying in shows like this, keeping them interested long term lies in model aviation.

He wanted us to extend this invite to everyone we knew involved in aviation. If you have questions, Tim can be con- tacted at 813.731.4787. He claims he has been heavily involved with LSA and ultralight aircraft at Sun N Fun and besides the Drifter, owns A CGS Hawk and a Zenith CH601. Some of you at Monroe County may know him.
