EAA Young Eagles Flights
Take a Young Eagles Flight
Young Eagles flights are available to youth ages 8-17, and are provided by EAA volunteers. EAA Chapter 17 and other chapters regularly host Young Eagles rallies, but we can also arrange flights on a one-off basis.
Once the flight is complete, youths can continue their aviation journey with the EAA Young Eagles Flight Plan, which includes free EAA membership, access to Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course, and much more!
What are Young Eagles flights?
Since launching in 1992, over 2.3 million young people have enjoyed a free flight through the Young Eagles program. Young Eagles is the only program of its kind, introducing and inspiring kids in the world of aviation by giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane.
