SUMMARY:RAF Fly Rocky Top Work Weekend
DESCRIPTION:RAF TN Supporters are invited to join a work weekend at three airfields in the Fly Rocky\nTop network Friday\, Oct. 2 through Sunday\, Oct. 4. \nThis event will be based at Smuggler’s Landing\, the Rockwood Airport (KRKW)\nAlternate Grass Landing Area\, with satellite projects taking place at McGraw’s Backyard\nand Higdon Field. \nVolunteers will be camping\, with three meals provided each day at KRKW.\nProjects will include building three pilot shelters\, setting up an outdoor kitchen\,\ninstalling a bathroom\, clearing brush\, cutting firewood\, and more. \nTo learn more\, please contact RAF Volunteer Coordinator Erin White:\newhite@theraf.org or 970-209-5980. \nTo RSVP\, please fill out the Fly Rocky Top Volunteer Weekend form. \nPlease also review the Airfield Guide listings for Smuggler’s Landing and McGraw’s Backyard for additional information.
